Orval Day 2025 | Saturday, March 22nd - 2pm to 10pm
🍺 The Unicorn Tavern is proud to join the top beer bars from across the globe in celebrating Orval Day 2025 by featuring bottles of this classic paired with our iconic Fish & Frites and special edition Fish & Rings.
Orval is a Belgian Pale Ale that is dry-hopped, then finished with Brettanomyces. Intensely aromatic and dry, this beer is both complex and unique.
Orval will donate proceeds from each bottle sold to the National Forest Foundation, a group working to restore our National Forests and Grasslands.
World Down Syndrome Day
World Down Syndrome Day | Friday, March 21st
🙂 WDSD is a global awareness day which has been officially observed by the United Nations since 2012. The goal is to help people understand and support those with Down syndrome better.
🙂 The date being the 21st day of the 3rd month was chosen to represent the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome.
🙂This year we are partnering with 20 other local businesses to celebrate WDSD by donating 3% of sales to Kenzie’s Be Cafe on March 21st. The list of all the participating partners is in the picture comments.
